two *great* shelters that need your help!

as mentioned below, this blog is not affiliated with the ashtabula couty apl, but i do like to sing their praises on a regular basis. they have so many great dogs & cats there, and are *always* overcrowded. some months the dog warden brings in over 100 dogs! they are currently desperate to bring the outside dogs indoors, and *any* dogs they can move gets them closer to doing that. please see if there is anyone you can help. transport assistance is available, and rescue groups get discounted pull fees.

vincennes pet port in indiana is another shelter that does great work. they are currently being forced to euthanize animals for space, and need to get as many dogs & cats to homes or rescue a.s.a.p this is a very rescue friendly shelter, and transport is available
