Ralph Lauren has given up fur!

just a quick note to Ralph Lauren via their comment form thanking them for giving up fur in their collections:

bush beans giving away 'deluxe pet home'

well, crud. i wrote a nice letter to bush beans urging them not to give away a doghouse as a prize in their all-star pets contest, & i lost it (fortunately after i sent it, at least...it was via one of those comment forms, & i saved a copy, but my computer crashed, lalalalala)

anyways, here is the link to bush beans contest. sounds sweet overall, but the doghouse ('deluxe pet home') just sends the wrong message. not that every doghouse owner neglects their dog, but there certainly does seem to be a correlation.

i also suggested they sponsor the dogs deserve better chain off campaign.
